LCRU's Central Organizing Principles

LCRU is not affiliated with the Cowlitz County Republican Central Committee.

 

• The Republican Party, over all other political organizations, is the best hope and vehicle to advance conservative values in governing and social policy.

• Positive electoral results - winning - requires an appropriate blend of ideology and pragmatism in a world of infinite opinion. This necessitates conservative diversity. The virtue of the fight is of extreme importance, but is secondary to success at the ballot box.

• Republicans serving or seeking to serve the public are never perfect - rather, they are, with rare exceptions, distinctly superior to all of the alternatives.

HOW DO WE DO WHAT WE DO?

Candidate Identification. We look for people who share our conservative perspectives and are interested in making contributions for the betterment of our citizenry.

​

Candidate Training. As a commitment to our stated purpose of electing Republicans, our training programs rely on experts, including candidates we've supported, to share their winning strategies.

​

Candidate Support. We can help with PDC filing and reporting, volunteers, fundraising, event planning, media advice, and campaign strategy.
